I did everything I was told. And nothing worked.

What I Learned

Three things that changed everything for me.

Here is what most of us are doing wrong. We try to change our life by working harder, thinking harder, wanting it more. I did that for years. It does not work. Why? Because your subconscious runs 95% of your behavior. And until you learn how to actually talk to it, you are fighting yourself. Here is what finally changed the game for me.

The Science

Here is what I found when I started digging.

Let me share one study that stopped me in my tracks. Harvard neuroscientist Sara Lazar ran an experiment where people meditated 27 minutes a day for 8 weeks. That is it. Just 27 minutes. And when she scanned their brains, the grey matter in areas tied to learning and memory had grown. The grey matter in areas tied to stress and anxiety had shrunk. Their brains physically changed. In eight weeks.

Then I learned about binaural beats. You put on headphones. Each ear gets a slightly different tone. And your brain syncs up to the frequency you want. It is how you can drop into deep meditation states without meditating for 20 years first. For someone like me, who could never quiet my mind, this was the door I did not know existed.
